Mr. Chan, 49, holds a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) Degree from Imperial College, London. After graduation in 1979, he worked initially as an engineer in the oil and gas industry. He joined Accenture in 1983 as an IT/management consultant and was made partner of the firm in 1998. During his tenure there until 2004, he served in various roles involving venture capital and corporate development for Accenture’s venture investments and merger and acquisition deals in Asia Pacific. He is currently a free-lance consultant.
