Bhg. Dato' Wee Hoe Soon @ Gooi Hoe Soon, a Malaysian, aged 58, has been appointed as director in several public listed company.

YBhg. Dato' Gooi is a member of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.  He has more than 35 years of experience in the fields of accounting and corporate finance and was Finance Director of several private and public listed companies.

YBhg. Dato' Gooi had been instrumental in the successful implementation of several corporate exercises which included merger and acquisition and corporate debt restructuring exercises undertaken by public listed companies.

In 1999, YBhg. Dato' Gooi was appointed to the Board of Avenue Capital Resources Berhad as a Non-Executive Director, as its Group Managing Director in 2001 and subsequently as its Deputy Chairman in 2004, a position that he held until 2006. He was also the CEO/Executive Director-Dealing of Avenue Securities Sdn Bhd and also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Pos Malaysia Berhad from 2007 to 2013. In 2008. YBhg. Dato Gooi was appointed to the Board of EON Bank Berhad and was subsequently appointed Chairman of the Board in 2009, a position that he held until May 2012. He was the Chairman of EON Bank Berhad from 2010 till the vesting of the whole of the Banks business to Hong Leong Bank Berhad on 1 July 2011.

Currently, he is a Director of AIA Bhd, Yinson Holdings Berhad. He is also a Director/Chairman of Perusahaan Sadur Timah Malaysia (Perstima) Berhad and Director/Co-Chairman of Hup Seng Industries Berhad.

YBhg. Dato' Gooi does not have any family relationship with any director and/or substantial shareholder of the Company or any conflict of interest with the Company.  He has not been convicted of any offence within the past 20 years.
