Dato' Lim Keng Kay has worked in both the government and private sectors. He joined the Board as Deputy Chairman and Group Managing Director on 11 April 1991. He stepped down as Group Managing Director on 1 July 1998 but remained as Deputy Chairman until 3 April 2001 when he took over as Chairman of the Board of Directors of MFCB.
