From February 1999 to August 2000, he was the Chief Operating Officer of EPE Power Corporation Berhad. On 15 August 2000, he was transferred to Renong Berhad as the Chief Operating Officer, a position he held before he was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of TIME Engineering Berhad on 18 November 2001.
