Mr. Tai Keat Chai began his career with KPMG in London in 1977 and a year later joined PriceWaterhouse (now known as PwC) in Kuala Lumpur. In 1981, he joined Amanah Merchant Bank Berhad (now known as Alliance Investment Bank Berhad) where he worked for seven years. 

In 1990, he ventured into the stockbroking industry and has worked in SJ Securities Sdn Bhd, JB Securities Sdn Bhd (now known as A.A.Anthony Securities Sdn Bhd) and BBMB Securities Sdn Bhd (now known as Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad) as General Manager, Director and dealers representative respectively. Currently he is a Director of Fiscal Corporate Services Sdn Bhd.
