Working Experience
Datuk Amat Asri was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Hap Seng Plantations Holdings Berhad on 1 June 2014. He spent 20 years in Sabah Civil Service from 1970 to 1990. Thereafter, he was with Hap Seng Sdn Bhd from 1990 to 1996 as its chief officer of the Legal and General Affairs. He then went into legal practice in Sabah from 1997 to 1999. He was appointed by the Sabah Government as a Senior Public Relations Secretary cum Senior Private Secretary from 2000 to 2004 where he served two Chief Ministers consecutively.
