He started his career as an Auditor with Wilson, Green & Gibbs in London from 1988 to 1991 and from 1991 to 1996, he was an Auditor with KPMG Peat Marwick. From 2003 till 2005, he was a Director of General Soil Engineering Holdings Berhad. He was appointed to the Board of ARK on 27 September 2005 as Executive Director and was appointed as the Chairman and Group Managing Director on 27 April 2006.
