On 24 April 2001, he was appointed the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. He started his career by joining the Sarawak Civil Service in 1981 until he move to private sector in 1987. Under his leadership, ZECON Group has undertaken dynamic diversification recent years and has even positioned itself for international ventures. `
