• Presently a seminar speaker and trainer in IFRS to qualified accountants and directors of public listed companies in Malaysia and a Financial Consultant to enterprises on financial related areas.
• Has more than 20 years’ experience in conducting seminars and training with an average of 60 seminars and workshops conducted in a year.
• Attached to seminar organizers like CCH Ltd, the Malaysian Institute of Accountants(MIA) and the Malaysian Institute of CPA.
• Conducted tailored made in-house training to entities that include Intel Penang, Genting Bhd, KPMG, BDO Binder and Securities Commission of Malaysia.
• Project manager to various projects undertaken by the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) since 1998. Project include areas related to intangible assets, share based payment and business combination.
• Prior to that, as technical manager of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), formulating and drafting accounting standards for compliance by Malaysian enterprises. Also three years as Technical Director of BDO Binder in the late 1990s.
• Member of the Technical Accounting Reference Panel of the Securities Commission of Malaysia that reviews and regulate corporate reporting of public listed companies in Malaysia.
• On an engagement basis, provided written technical opinion on accounting issues like business combination, leases, intangible assets and changes in accounting policies.
• Attached to an accounting firm for 10 years undertaking auditing assignment, business valuation, due diligence and IPO related activities
