Encik Ahmad Pardas Senin has been appointed as the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of United Engineers (Malaysia) and UEM World Berhad with effect from 1 July 2004. He has been with the UEM Group for more than ten (10) years since 1992 prior to being seconded to Silterra Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Berhad, as Executive Director in April 2003. As present, he is a Non-Executive Director of Silterra Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

Prior to the secondment, he was the Managing Director of TIME Engineering Berhad and Executive Director / Chief Executive Officer of TIME dotCom Berhad.

Encik Ahmad was the Group Managing Director of Renong Berhad during the period from June 1999 to August 2002. He has also served in other companies in the UEM Group, including Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of EPE Power Corporation Berhad between 1995-1998, and General Manager, Finance in Renong Berhad during 1992-1994.

He has also served on the boards of Crest Petroleum Berhad, Faber Group Berhad and the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT).

Prior to joining the UEM Group, Encik Ahmad Pardas had more than 17 years service with British-American Tobacco Group, including a 3-year stint at their holding company in London.
