In 1996, he joined Amanah Merchant Bank Berhad and involved in advising on corporate restructuring exercise, In 2000, he joined Komarkcorp Berhad as a Group Financial Controller and in 2003, he was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Komarkcorp Berhad. During the same time, from 2000 to 2004, he also ventured into management consultancy practice.
