Mr. Yap Seng Siang has been the Managing Director of a housing developer, Bundar Jaya Sdn. Bhd. since 1989 and has more than 29 years of experience in property development, specialising in the mixed housing development of landed properties.

In early 1987, Mr. Yap worked as the Project Engineer for a housing developer in Senai, Johor to undertake a 35-acre housing project in which he had gained the valuable experience in the landed property development. Two years later, he set up his own company to develop housing project in Banting, Selangor. He had completed more than 26 housing projects, mostly in Selangor.

Mr. Yap has extensive experience in hotel business especially in budget hotels, such as the acquisition of properties, design and build, operation and management. In 2005, he ventured into hotel business by way of acquisition of an abandoned commercial project at Batu Ferringhi, Penang. The project was later converted into and completed as budget hotel in 2009. Since then, he had added 2 budget hotels under his management.
