Dato’ Wan Puteh had served various Government offices for thirty two (32) years including the Ministry of Finance as Senior Assistant Director of Budget and was the Selangor State Financial Officer from March 1979 to April 1986. He has held leadership positions in numerous sports and recreational organizations and is the Chairman of various committees for Kelab Golf Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Malaysia. He was also involved in the Malaysian Scouts movement for more than fifty (50) years and his last position was the National Chief Commissioner for Malaysia. He also holds directorships in other private companies.
