Madam Ng Kiat Min holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) majoring in Accounting & Finance and a Diploma in Business Studies both from United Kingdom. She is a member of the Chartered Association of Accountant (ACCA) from United Kingdom, Chartered Accountant of Malaysia
and the Fellow of the Association of Accountant (FCCA), United Kingdom.

Madam Ng Kiat Min started her career as an Auditor at Hanafiah, Raslan & Mohamed / Touche Ross International, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 1981. In July 1985 until December 1985, she was the Auditor at Chartered Accountant- Howard S. Markham & Co. in London, England.  She joined the Sabah Forest Industries Sdn. Bhd. as the Internal Audit Officer from May 1986 until June 1987 and promoted to the Project Research Officer in July 1987.
In 1988, Madam Ng Kiat Min was further promoted to the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of Sabah Forest Industries Sdn. Bhd. In January 1994, she became the Company Secretary/ Accountant at Zaidun- Leeng (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd.. She joined SURIA in 10 September 2001 where she was appointed as the Senior Manager of Corporate Development. On the 1 September 2004, she was then seconded to Sabah Ports Sdn. Bhd. as the General Manager of Corporate Services & Finance before holding her current post as the Chief Financial Officer of SURIA on 2 June 2010.
