We refer to the earlier announcements in relation to the Proposed Settlement.
The Board of Directors of Olympia Industries Berhad (“OIB” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that the shareholders of OIB have approved the ordinary resolution on the Proposed Settlement tabled at Extraordinary General Meeting held today.
The ordinary resolution on the Proposed Settlement was carried by way of poll with the following results:
(i) 221,089,703 shares (representing 99.998% present and voting) voted in favour of the ordinary resolution; and
(ii) 4,000 shares (representing 0.002% present and voting) voted against the ordinary resolution.
