On behalf of Sarawak Cable Berhad ("SCB"), Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad is pleased to announce that at the extraordinary general meeting ("EGM") of SCB held today, the shareholders of SCB have duly approved the ordinary resolution set out in the Notice of EGM dated 1 October 2019 by way of poll. The results of the poll were validated by Malaysian Issuing House Sdn Bhd, the independent scrutineer appointed by SCB. This announcement is dated 16 October 2019.
