The Board of Directors of Rex Industry Berhad ("the Company") wishes to announce thatthe ordinary resolutionas set out in the Notice of the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") of the Company dated 4 October 2016 was duly passed by the shareholders of the Company at the EGM held today.

The ordinary resolutionwas voted by poll and the resultof the poll was validated by Messrs. Crowe Horwath,the independent scrutineer appointed by the Company.
