According to a study by Eco-Business Research, sponsored by pump solutions company Grundfos, more than half of Malaysians who were surveyed thought that rural and urban planning to tackle floods in the country were not effective in the face of extreme weather events. We speak with TPr. Hj Ihsan Zainal Mokhtar, President of Malaysian Institute of Planners, about what more can be done to better prepare cities and towns for floods.
