The Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah has announced plans to promote traditional longhouses as homestays - specifically Sibu and Kapit longhouses. We look into how a concerted state government effort for this might mean, how it might help the communities involved, and how it would bolster tourism in Sarawak.
