KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 3): Focus Point Holdings Bhd is set to be transferred to the Main Market from the ACE Market on Thursday (Jan 5) under the “Consumer Products & Services” sector, according to Bursa Malaysia.
This comes after the optical retail chain store operator met the profit test of the Securities Commission Malaysia's Equity Guidelines.
The group was listed on the ACE Market on Aug 23, 2010.
Brands under Focus Point’s offerings include the affordable Woosh range and a new brand called Anggun Optometrist aimed at the mid-range to high-end Malay market.
Shares in Focus Point had gained 1.5 sen or 1.7% to 88 sen apiece at the noon market break on Tuesday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM290 million.
