Bersatu accounts frozen?

KUALA LUMPUR: Reports have emerged that Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia's (Bersatu) accounts have been frozen by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
MACC had apparently frozen the party's accounts to facilitate investigation into the alleged misappropriation of billions of ringgit for Covid-19 stimulus packages.
Bersatu leaders including its deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu and its information chief Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan could not be immediately reached for comments.
The New Straits Times is also attempting to get confirmation from the MACC.
