KUALA LUMPUR: The Election Commission (EC) has announced 38,729 names of citizens aged 18 and above who have been automatically registered as new voters in the March 2024 Supplementary Electoral Roll (DPT BLN3/2024).

EC secretary Datuk Indera Ikmalrudin Ishak, in a statement today, said the list of names have been verified and gazetted and is open for any objections up to May 29.

"The latest DPT BLN3/2024 contains 38,729 names of citizens aged 18 and above who were automatically registered as new voters from March 1 to 31. Of this lot, 6,282 registered voters who have changed constituencies and 1,737 registered voters who have changed their status or category as voters."

He said any verification or objection of the DPT BLN3/2024 can be done via five methods, including logging into the EC portal at, https://www.spr.gov.my or https://mysprsemak.spr.gov.my; the State Election Offices official portal at the link http://ppn.spr.gov.my, Online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my; and Voter Registration Verification Hotline at 03-8892 7218.

"If any of them find that their name is not listed in the DPT BLN3/2024, they can make a claim by filling out a C Form through the online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my or by visiting the respective state election office.

"Any registered voter in a particular constituency who checks and intends to make an objection for any names on the roll should use the D Form through the link, https://myspr.spr.gov.my, or by visiting the respective State Election Office.
