Ramasamy: PH and DAP have unleased their ‘attack dogs’ in KKB polls

AFTER having being socialised as sycophants and “attack dogs” of the bosses in the DAP family, it doesn’t take long for Jelutong MP R.S.N Rayer and Indian leaders to vent their anger and frustration against me and my friends in the United Rights of Malaysian Party (Urimai).

If DAP is such a strong and embedded political party in the Malaysian society, why are they frightened by Urimai which is only a budding political party?

By the way, loyalty and principles are for an emancipatory cause as opposed to supporting family politics in DAP or the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.

My friends and I resigned from DAP not because we were not offered seats but because of the systematic purge undertaken by certain leaders in DAP to keep intact family interests.

Moreover, the need to have good relationship with UMNO was the other reason why I was dropped as the candidate.

I am sure the king of sycophants in the party, Rayer, knows this. As usual, he pretends to put up a brave front to castigate those who left the party as a bunch of traitors or people without principles.

‘Selective attack’

I have always maintained that my primary struggle is for the emancipation of the poor and marginalised Malaysians, including the Indians.

If PH and DAP are doing a great job in addressing the myriad problems of the Indian community, why worry about the “mosquito” party Urimai?

Are Rayer and his “attack dogs” worried about the influence of Urimai? Are they afraid that Indians in Kuala Kubu Baharu (KKB) and the nation as whole are willing to listen to Urimai rather than PH or DAP?

Where were Rayer and his attack team when Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim called the Indians as “Keling” or refused to appoint an Indian Tamil as the full cabinet minister?

Where were Rayer and DAP loyalists when Anwar was rude to the student who brought about the issue of racial discrimination in the admission to the matriculation programme, entry to public universities and not the least, the marginalisation of non-Malays in the public service employment?

Why didn’t Rayer and his faithful gang question the DAP bosses and Anwar on the financial pittance given to the Indian community compared to the billions provided to the Bumiputra community?

Attacking me and my friends will not weaken our resolve to expose the charlatans in PH-led government who have ignored the Indian community.

Maybe Rayer the overzealous sycophant should tell us whether PH-led governments is any different from the earlier BN government with UMNO as its main hegemon.

Undeniably, UMNO was the prime cause of Indian misery for it sparked the rise of the HINDRAF (Hindu Rights Action Force) movement in 2007. Rayer had forgotten this tragic episode now that DAP and PKR have embraced UMNO and the lesser evil, MIC.

Urimai as a viable option

Rayer who once considered UMNO as the No. 1 enemy of the Malaysians has happily embraced the Barisan Nasional (BN) ‘big brother’.

Without any standing in the Indian community, MIC is now depended upon to attract Indian votes in KKB. What a joke!

If Rayer and his DAP bosses can embrace UMNO while forgetting their past political animosity, then the hypocrite Rayer should not talk about betrayals, traitors and principles.

He should apply these concepts to himself and his close Indian buddies in DAP and PH.

Indians are treated shabbily by both DAP and PH. As long as the second or third echelon Indian leaders play the continuous game of appeasing their bosses, then Indians will be thrown some breadcrumbs.

I can understand the blind loyalty of the Indian leaders in DAP and PH but such loyalty cannot be translated as fighting for the cause of Indians.

All Rayer can do is shout in the Parliament but beyond that he is a disgrace to the Indian community. He rarely brings about Indian issues in the Parliament due to his blind adherence to the fake multi-racialism of the DAP.

Urimai is a party about to be formed. As movement for the time being, Urimai has gained supporters who will be potential members in almost all the states.

Urimai seeks to represent and articulate the interests and concerns of the Indian community and other marginal sections of the Malaysian society.

PH and DAP leaders can attack our Urimai team all they want. One thing is sure: they are afraid of the influence and impact of Urimai on the Indian community.

My advice to PH/DAP is to go ahead and unleash the “attack dogs” on us. Urimai wants Indians to punish PH/DAP in the KKB by-election. It is about time that the Indian community takes a stand in the KKB polls. - May 1, 2024
