KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 30): Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim wants the people to use the National Day celebrations on Saturday to strengthen unity among Malaysians.

He said this was because the nation's independence was achieved through the collective strength and unity of its people.

The Prime Minister said this during his speech at the National Day 2024 address held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre on Friday, attended by thousands.

The address was broadcast live on local television and the Prime Minister’s official Facebook page.
