Dear Friends of i3 Forum, (Please read to the end as we type now)
Today has been a very eventful day for Shareholders of Bplant. Rumour by TheEdgedaily that KLK & Bplant Deal has been "Called Off" & caused panic and fear. Many have posted all kinds of Summations
Now let us be calm and take a careful look
Bplant was one of Top 10 Palm oil stocks picked by Eagle Group in Year 2020/2021 when it was 57 sen

I have An Investment Approach I which I would like to all.
Hi guys,
This evening we want to highlight another Jewel Plantation share called BPlant (5254)
Since Bplant is 57 sen that is 94% CASH ALREADY
See Full Article Under Comments Post
Suddenly this year Bplant jumped from 64 sen to over Rm1.50 at the news of KLK taking a Stake in Bplant
And again Rumour of Deal being called off Bplant suddenly dropped from Rm1.50 to Rm1.27 (with many in great doubts and uncerainty
Now if you have bought Bplant low at 57 sen you have already received more than 20 sen dividend (all from assets disposal and cash payout)
But if you are a trader buying and selling for small gains and still chased at peak? Then there is no guarantee you will make money
So remember, Buy a Value Stock when price is cheap and overlooked. Then wait.
Wait? How long?
If you had bought Bplant at 57 sen after deducting 20 sen dividend your cost would be only 37 sen
So even if Bplant is Rm1.27 there is a profit of 90 sen or 243%
And that means 81% profit per year. So waiting will see good returns
At this juncture let us take another look at Bplant
It has proposed to sell at least 33% Stake to KLK. Now In Bursa Filing KLK already bought 36% or 808 Million Bplant shares from open market

Now Add KLK 36.093%
Total is 104.%
So KLK in principle has bought all the "Other" available holders of Bplant and also all of free float & even exceeded by 4.1% TSH shares
That means two things
If ALL OUTSIDE NO MORE then at least 4.1% of LTAT/Bplant shares are now with KLK
Or if there is still Holders out there (judging from all the noise and hooha in Bplant Forum we know many are still holding Bplant shares
That means more that 4.1% of Bplant/Ltat have already been sold
According to Bursa Rule any entity holding above 5% equity in a given Co must file notice of trading
This is still not known
So we await News
Now Rumour has it that Bplant being a Bumi Glc should not be sold to a non Bumi Entity
That has been the norm for Land sale
Note:
When Thplant wanted to sell its Tatau Sarawak Lands to non Bumi Entity it was objected and called off

The government has decided to withdraw the approval of indirect property acquisition by Tamaco Plantation Sdn Bhd from TH Plantations Bhd (THP) on Dec 4, for further scrutiny and other factors.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy) Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri disclosed this in a joint statement here today.
They maintained that the indirect property acquisition application by Tamaco through the subscription of 100% shares from two THP subsidiaries — Bumi Suria Ventures Sdn Bhd and Maju Warisanmas Sdn Bhd — was subject to property acquisition guidelines which have been in effect since March 1, 2014.
The guidelines stipulated that dilution of properties by Bumiputera interests via direct or indirect acquisition by non-Bumiputera interests is based on retention of at least 30% equity ownership for the latter.
According to the statement, Tamaco in a letter of approval dated Nov 24, 2020, was required, based on the guidelines, to establish equity ownership of at least 30% for Bumiputera interest within one year from the conditional approval.
The conditional approval was given on the justifications by THP that it was for continuous operation and financial stability of the company.
“We are determined to continue developing THP and Lembaga Tabung Haji more successfully to a prominent stage in the country, as well as internationally,” the ministers said.
ABOVE DEAL WAS ABORTED
Again when MSM wanted to sell Perlis Lands to F&N (Non Bumi entity) it was also called off
Thursday, 09 Apr 2020
6:17 PM MYTIT WAS LATER SOLD TO FGV
KUALA LUMPUR: FGV Holdings Bhd, via subsidiary FGV Integrated Farming Holdings Sdn Bhd, has inked a share sales agreement with MSM Malaysia Holdings Bhd to buy MSM Perlis Sdn Bhd for RM175 million.
The agreement is a continuation of the binding term sheet signed between MSM and FGV Integrated on April 30 this year.
MSM, which is 51 pe rcent-owned by FGV, will obtain shareholders approval via an extraordinary general meeting by the third quarter of 2021.
ABOVE TWO BUMI GLC ABORTED LAND DEALS TO NON BUMI ENTITIES
But a new precedent was set when Bplant (Also Govt GLC) sold its Kulai Young Lands to YTL-POWER

Boustead Plantations disposes of Johor land for RM429m
KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 28): Boustead Plantations Bhd has proposed to sell Kulai Young Estate in Johor for RM429 million to YTL Power International Bhd’s 70%-owned subsidiary SIPP Power Sdn Bhd.
The group expects to realise an estimated RM323 million upon completion of the disposal of the 664ha of plantation land.
This translates into a gain of RM486,400 per hectare, which will increase value for its shareholders by 14 sen per share, said Boustead Plantations in a statement on Tuesday.
The sale consideration is 10% or RM39 million higher than the market value of the land of RM390 million accorded by independent valuer C H Williams Talhar & Wong Sdn Bhd.
Boustead Plantations chief executive officer Zainal Abidin Shariff said the deal is an ideal opportunity for Boustead Plantations to monetise this asset in line with the group’s Reinventing Boustead strategy.
“It is indeed beneficial for the group, as we are able to unlock the asset value and the proceeds will be utilised to pare down borrowings and meet our working capital requirements,” he said.
“The proceeds from the proposed disposal will allow us to strengthen the balance sheet for future growth and manage our gearing by way of paring down borrowings, reducing the group’s gearing ratio from 0.48 times to 0.31 times,” he added.
Following the repayment of borrowings, the group is expected to save interest cost of about RM15 million per year.
Boustead Plantations will also strengthen its relationship with SIPP Power by securing a five-year plantation management agency agreement, which will contribute to the former's earnings.
Now if Bplant was allowed to sell Its Kulai Lands to YTL-POWER why should it deem objectionable if it were to sell 33% shares to highest Bidder KLK for Rm1.55?
What was the rational to stop it at this stage when KLK already bought over 808 Million Bplant shares?
For all answers yet to be revealed we urge all to keep a cool rational mind and please comments with polite inputs
With Sincere regards
Calvin Tan
