Dato' Chin Yoke Choon has more than 36 years of retail and property business experience. His dynamic leadership is instrumental in the growth of Tunas Manja Sdn Bhd ("TMG") from its first supermarket in Kuantan, Pahang to a chain of 85 stores across Peninsular Malaysia. Throughout the years, he has charted the overall strategic direction of TMG including the implementation of numerous key initiatives including the introduction of white-label grocery products, self-checkout machines in selected outlets and the launching of new store concepts, namely "TMG Mart", "TMG Plus" and "TMG Express 3000". As the Executive Director of TMG, Dato' Chin Yoke Choon leverages on his knowledge and experience to drive the strategic vision and growth strategies of the Group, particularly the ongoing expansion of the TMG supermarket chain throughout Peninsular Malaysia. Under his leadership, TMG undertakes CSR programs both at state and national levels and has received a number of awards in recognition of its achievements in retailing. Dato' Chin Yoke Choon is an active member of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, serving as a committee member of its National Council and its International Relation committee and is Vice President of its Pahang Branch. In this capacity, he is involved in promoting interaction, cooperation and development in trade, investment and other industrial and commercial fields between Malaysia and China.
