Ms Lee joined IOI Group as a Legal Executive in 1996 and was subsequently transferred to the property division to take charge of implementing the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) quality management systems. She has since held various positions in IOI Properties Group and was promoted to Senior General Manager, Marketing and Business Development in 2010 before her appointment as an Executive Director of IOI Properties Group Berhad. She was responsible for supporting, managing and implementing the IOI Properties Group's sales and marketing strategies, and overseeing the product design development, sustainability, corporate communication, information technology digitalisation transformation and risk management functions.

Ms Lee is the sister of Dato' Lee Yeow Chor and Lee Yeow Seng.
