Jamil Osman was a highly decorated Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) officer who opted for an early retirement in March 2012. Prior to his retirement, he was the RMN Fleet Commander in charge of the Naval operations and responsible for the sovereignty of Malaysia Maritime Areas.
Prior to that, he was the Malaysian Armed Forces Joint Force Commander (2010-2011).
He was a Senior General Manager of Business Development Department for System Consultancy Services Sdn. Bhd (2021-2023) and presently is the Weststar Aviation Services Sdn Bhd Country Manager for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
