Dato' Che Halin Bin Mohd Hashim ("Dato' Che Halin") is currently the Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Solarvest Holdings Berhad. He has more than 40 years of working experience in manufacturing, telecommunication, insurance, merchant banking, corporate banking, investment and portfolio management, merger & acquisition exercises, industrial development financing and general management.
Dato' Che Halin began his career as a Technical Officer with Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (1980-1982). Prior to his retirement in 2012, he has served as a Manager in Permata Chartered Merchant Bank Berhad (now known as Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad) (1982-1991), Senior Manager in Sime AXA Assurance Berhad (1991-1997), Chief Operating Officer in Time Engineering Berhad's subsidiary (1997-2005) and Group Managing Director of Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad (2005-2012).
