She graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1996 with Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication, majoring in management. She started her career in May 1996 with MCSB Systems Sdn Bhd as an accounts development executive. She left MCSB in October 1997 with her last position being an account development manager. At MCSB, she was mainly responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the overall budget, market research and positioning and marketing strategies. She also provided product awareness training to the sales team.
From MCSB, she joined Golden Frontier Berhad in November 1997 as a business development manager, where she was in charge of business development, project management and development. She worked closely with the customers in meeting customised packaging for their branding development. She left the company in May 1998 and the entrepreneurial spirit took root as she co-founded MRT Asia Sdn Bhd with Wong Yih Hsow, where she managed the company's overall administration, human resources, purchasing, and sales operations. The company had been struck off on 2 May 2023.
Her journey continued with the co-founding of
TT Vision in May 2001 and TT Innovation in August 2006 with Goon Koon Yin and Wong Yih Hsow. Since its inception, she has played an instrumental role over the course of two decades with her involvement and oversight in TT Visions administration, human resources, purchasing, shipping, internal control, and IT departments. She spearheaded the company in obtaining its MSC Malaysia status in 2004 and the ISO 9000:2008 certification in 2009 and currently leading the company in driving towards ESG goals, focusing on environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
