Mr Ling was the Group General Manager of the Company from 1 September 1999 to 8 November 2005 and appointed an Executive Director on 9 November 2005. His past positions include Research Officer (1975-1979) with FELDA, Agronomist (1979-1985) and Manager, Agricultural Services (1986-1989) of Dunlop Estates Berhad. He was also the General Manager (Plantations) with Malaysian Mosaics Berhad (1992-1996) and Chief Operating Officer-Plantations for Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad (1996-1999) prior to joining the Company in 1999.
