Working Experience
Dato' Wong Puan Wah has over 40 years experience in journalism. He started his career with the Straits Times in 1966 and joined the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Kuala Lumpur, in 1969. He also worked for the Financial Times of London as its Malaysia correspondent. Between 1989 and 1996, he was the business correspondent for Radio Australia in Sydney. He joined Star Publications (Malaysia) Berhad as its Business Editor in 1996. He was appointed as the Star's Group Chief Editor in January 2004 until his retirement in December 2006.
