Working Experience
Puan Farah's last role was as Group Legal Counsel of IOI Corporation Berhad, a listed plantation company, where she was responsible to manage and advise on all corporate legal matters and transactions arising in IOI. Prior to this, she was Managing Partner of her own legal firm, Chambers of Farah Suhanah, which she founded upon leaving the legal practice of Zaid Ibrahim & Co. Puan Farah's early legal career started at the Attorney-General's Chambers of Malaysia, where she was appointed as Deputy Public Prosecutor to conduct the prosecution of criminal capital offences in the High Courts of KL, and was also subsequently appointed as a Federal Counsel. She has also served as a Magistrate (Civil) in Kuala Lumpur.
