Working Experience
In 2007, Mr. Tan started his career as a Junior Designer under the apprenticeship of the Design Director at Quirk & Associates Sdn. Bhd. He then joined Nexus Event Management Sdn. Bhd. as an Event Designer from 2009 to 2011, in which he explored in events, stage and exhibition design and handled projects for, amongst others, Mercedes-Benz and British-American Tobacco.
Since 2012, Mr. Tan was appointed as Chief Executive Designer of Design Dept Sdn. Bhd. and expanded it into an award-winning design and construction company, specialising in F&B commercial projects such as Ferria, Finch, LaFleur, Lavo, Bounce, The Lemon Tree, Oversea Restaurants and many more.
