Datin Linda Ngiam was the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Star Media Group Berhad ("Star")
from 1 July 2008 until 30 June 2011 and served as Deputy Group General Manager from 2004 until her appointment as Group Chief Operating Officer in Star in 2005.
Prior to this, she was General Manager, Advertising & Business Development (1985 - 2003).
Datin Linda Ngiam was re-designated to Independent Director of Star on 1 July 2013.
She was a Board Member of the Audit Bureau of Circulations ("ABC"), Malaysia and Chairperson of the ABC Content & Communications Committee. She represented The Star on the Malaysian Newspapers Publishers Association as its Honorary Secretary and was a Board Member of the Advertising Standards Authority Malaysia.
