Ms Chen Siew Chong @ Chin Siew Chong was appointed on the Board of ATIS Corporation Berhad ("ATIS") as a Non-Executive Director on 6 June 2002. After completing secondary education in 1981, Ms Chen started her career as an accounts clerk in a textile company. After four (4) years, she joined a trading company called Lewden Electric (M) Sdn. Bhd. and was engaged as its Accounts Executive for about nine (9) years. On 1 March 1994, she joined KVC Electric (M) Sdn. Bhd. ("KVCM"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of ATIS as an Assistant Manager in the Marketing Department and since then she has been specialising in the area of procurement and customer service support. She currently holds the position of Head of Procurement of the KVCM Group, and manages the entire procurement operations from inventories planning, sourcing of inventories from local and overseas suppliers to timely delivery of inventories to KVCM's nationwide network of sales centers.
