Col. (Rtd.) Dato' Ir. Cheng Wah had served about 26 years i.e. from the period of December 1957 to September 1983 in the Malaysian Armed Forces. He had held various positions in the Malaysian Armed Forces including the postitions of Director of Armed Forces Works, Logistic Division, Ministry of Defence in 1978 and Director of Logistic, Ministry of Defence in 1980 before retiring in September 1983. Upon retirement in 1983, he joined Resorts World Bhd as Senior Vice President (Property Development) till June 2004. Currently, he is sits on the Board of two listed companies, PacificMas Berhad and Tamadam Bonded Warehouse Bhd. He is also a director in several other non-listed companies.
