Mr. Sia Bun Chun completed his Matriculation program in St Stephen's College, New Zealand.

George Sia commenced his career in 1967 as Technical Trainee in New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation.
In 1969, he joined Power Construction Pte Ltd, another company in New Zealand as a Test Engineer and Design Engineer and was subsequently promoted to Chief Test Engineer and Design Engineer.
He thereafter left New Zealand and went to Indonesia in 1974 where he joined PT Tanjong Budi Sari as Camp manager of timber logging operations and Project Manager for the engineering, procurement and construction contract of pressurising chemical treatment for timber, curing and drying plant for the Forestry Department in Riau Province.
George Sia returned to Malaysia in 1974 where he joined REI which was then called Crittal Euco Sdn Bhd as a General Manager of the Sales Marketing and New Product Development Department.
He was subsequently promoted to Managing Director in 1976 where he took on significant role in the management and operation of the company including the development of new business namely lattice structures and tubular poles fabrication, hot dipped galvanizing process, glass reinforced polymer/fibre reinforced plastic sectional water tank panels, engineering, procurement and construction contracts for communication towers and M&E portions of water and sewage treatment plant.

He is spouse of Chan Liew Hoon, a major shareholder of the Company
