He obtained a Bachelors Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University of Technology, London in 1977.
Working Experience
His career began as an engineer at ITT and subsequently joint Texas Instrument. In 1979, he joined Intel Malaysia where he held a senior management position and was posted at various international locations amongst which are United States, the Philippines and South Korea. After 15 years with Intel, he joined Quantum Malaysia as the Managing Director to start up the new operations in Penang. He subsequently spent 9 years there and was a Vice President when he left Quantum Malaysia. He was the CEO of Mimos Semiconductor Sdn Bhd before joining Knowles as its Managing Director.
