Datuk Ahmad Nizam Bin Salleh ("Datuk Ahmad") is the holder of a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Ohio University, United Stated and an Advanced Management Program (AMP) from Wharton School University of Pennsylvani (1999).

Datuk Ahmad has held various positions as Analyst, Planner and Project Coordinator in Corporate Planning and Finance sectors in PETRONAS Corporate Head Office in year 1981 to 1987. Datuk Ahmad held the following positions in Petronas Holding Company from years 1988 to 2002:-
(i) Head Project, Tender and Contract Division;
(ii) Deputy Project Director of LNG 2 Project;
(iii) Executive Assistant to the President/Chief Executive Officer ("CEO");
(iv) General Manager, Malaysia Crude Oil Marketing Division;
(v) Senior General Manager, Crude Oil Group; and
(vi) Senior General Manager and Group Treasury.
Datuk Ahmad assumed the position as the Managing Director ("MD") /CEO of Malaysia LNG Group of Companies in year 2004 and promoted as Vice President, Corporate Services Division of PETRONAS in year 2007.
From July 2010 to August 2015, Datuk Ahmad was the MD/CEO of Engen Ltd, South Africa.
