Mr. Ivan Radzi, Malaysian has been living in Sabah for the past 20 years but has recently returned to KL. He is the Managing Director of Hijau Ganda Sdn. Bhd. a specialist construction company primarily engaged in Erosion Control. Hijau Ganda successfully completed erosion control works for the upgrade of roads linking Kimanis to Keningau and from Sipitang to Tenom. Scope of works included hydroseeding, the planting of legumes, use of Geotextiles, Geogrids and Bioengineering works.
The company has also been actively involved in research on the use of waste material to manufacture quality products such as a recently patented Fibre-Granule board that is both thermal and sound efficient.
Together with The School of Engineering & Information Technology, University Sabah and CIDB the company has developed light weight concrete products for the construction industry such as the C Channel, a fully precast Floor Panel using both normal weight and lightweight concrete.
The company is also involved in Soil Stabilization works for roads by providing for a solid sub base that is water resistant thereby able to withstand the effects of floods. With a solid sub base and a good quality surface roads can be practically maintenance free.
He is also the Executive Director of Merah Ganda Sdn Bhd and oversees the company's main business in Genetic DNA health screening and IVF services targeting the China Market.
Mr. Ivan Radzi is originally from Penang but grew up mostly in KL. He was a student of St. Johns Institution until he left for England for further studies. He has an undergraduate B.A. in Business Studies from Leeds Polytechnic (now Leeds Metropolitan University) and an MBA from Western New Mexico, USA.
He has lived and worked in the U.K. the US as well as Australia and has been involved in Financial Services, the Construction industry and the Wellness business since 1990.
