In 1993, Dato' Mohd Azmi Othman was admitted to the High Court of Malaya as an advocate and solicitor. Since then, he began his career in 1994 in Tetuan Rozali Ismail & Co. until 1995 when he joined Corporate Line Sdn Bhd as Legal Officer. Following that he joined Tetuan Yaacob & Rakan-Rakan in 1996 until he found and acts as a principle partner of a legal firm named Tetuan Azmi Hisham & Co. and served as a senior member of the Bar Council Malaysia.
Dato' Mohd Azmi Othman is currently one of the Board of Directors of KYM Holdings Berhad ('KYM') since 2007.
He is also a member of Audit Committee, Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee of KYM. Besides serving in KYM, he also hold the following various positions:-
