Working Experience
He began his career in 1971 as a Rural Sociologist in the Department of Agriculture, Sarawak. From 1977 to 1997, he had held various management positions including Director in the Malaysian Centre for Development Studies, Prime Minister’s Department, Sarawak Branch, Deputy Director (Planning) in the Department of Development, Sarawak, Director of the State Planning Unit, Chief Minister’s Department and Director of Yayasan Sarawak and subsequently to the post of Deputy State Secretary of Sarawak. He retired from the public service on 8 November, 2001. He is currently a businessman.
