Datuk Seri Dr. Yam Kong Choy had a career spanning more than 35 years in construction, real estate and corporate sectors. He was the former Chief Executive Officer of Country Heights Holdings Berhad in 1996 and Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of Sunrise Berhad from 1997 to 2008 and was actively involved in the development and management of hotels, resorts, shopping malls, golf courses, international schools, residential and mix-use developments in Malaysia, South Africa, UK and Australia. He is the most recent Past President and Patron of the Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association of Malaysia.
