Mr Mugana Kerisnan A/L Karpiah graduated from University Pertanian Malaysia with Bachelor of Agricultural Science in 1984. He served as an Assistant Manager in Sungei Kawang Estate, Pahang; Kekayaan Estate, Johor, and Pasir Gajah Estate, Kelantan from 1985 until 1997. During this period, he also served as Acting Manager in Allagar Estate, Perak; Fraser Estate, Johor; and Liew Weng Chee Estate, Pahang.
He served as Manager of Pasir Gajah Estate from 2002 to 2008. Since 2008, he was the Estate Manager of Sungei Bagan Estate and Visiting Manager of Kuala Pergau Estate. His responsibilities as Estate Manager are to oversee estate operations, labour and staff management as well as strategic planning.
He was also the Alternate Director to Mr Balaraman A/L Annamaly with effect from 2 May 2019 until 31 December 2020.
