Ms Foo Ai Li ("AL Foo") joined Shell Malaysia in 2002 after 3 years of external audit exposure.
She served in the Singapore regional treasury centre for 5 years, after which she became accountable for statutory reporting, governance, hydrocarbon and management accounting, as Finance Manager in Shell Refining Company (FOM) Berhad.
She also held a global role overseeing 300 staff in Shells Finance Operations managing revenue billing for the Royal Dutch Shell Group. Ms AL Foo was the General Manager, Finance in Shell MDS Sdn Bhd accountable for the finance and governance function for manufacturing and marketing. Her last position in the energy industry was as the Chief Financial Officer of Hengyuan Refining Company Berhad (formerly Shell Refining Company (FOM) Berhad) from 2016 to 2019.
Ms AL Foo is presently attached to CDC Consulting Sdn Bhd providing advisory work. She is also an active volunteer at a non-governmental organisation which focuses on holistic education.
