Ms. Ng Ying Yiing brings with her over 16 years of experience in taxation, having worked in various companies. She started her career in Deloitte Touche Tomatsu Malaysia and Macau in 2004 and thereafter, KPMG Tax Services Pte. Ltd. in 2010. Her main responsibility was taking charge of the tax affairs and tax planning for multinational companies and public listed companies. Early in her career, she had undertaken the role as liaison officer to deal with Inland Revenue Board, Royal Malaysia Customs, Ministry of Finance and Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.
Subsequently, Ms. Ng joined Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad and provided tax support and tax advice to Business Operation/Human Resources/Legal and Compliance departments of the bank. In 2013, Ms. Ng joined GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad, managing all tax affairs, advised Management on restructuring exercise and transfer pricing projects.
Ms. Ng then joined Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotel Sdn. Bhd. as Vice President. She was actively involved with planning and tax audit matters. She had also acted as internal tax advisor for numerous corporate restructuring exercises.
