Dato Sri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman B Abdul Taib is the former Deputy Minister of Tourism for the Government of
Malaysia (Mar 2008-Dec 2009) and was a member of Parliament Malaysia (2008-2013). Dato Sri was appointed to the board of Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad ("CMSB") in 1995 and retired in 2008. During his tenure at CMSB, he held the position of Group Chairman, Group Deputy Chairman, Acting Group CEO and Group Executive Director.
He was also the Executive Chairman of RHB Capital Berhad (2003-2006) and chairman of boards for various companies including Rashid Hussain Berhad, RHB Insurance Berhad, RHB Asset Management S/B, RHB Research Institute S/B, CMS Property Development S/B, and CMS Works International Ltd. Other previous notable non-executive directorships include Sarawak Securities S/B, Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology S/B (MIGHT), Utama Banking Group Berhad, K&N Kenanga Holdings Berhad, Bank Utama (Malaysia) Berhad, Utama Merchant Bank Berhad, RHB Islamic Bank Berhad,
RHB Sakura Bankers Berhad and RHB Bank Berhad.
