Dato' Hasan Nawawi Bin Abd Rahman ("Dato' Hasan") was the Yang Dipertua of Kajang Municipal Council for 7 years since 2007 to 2014. Dato' Hasan joined the Administrative and Diplomatic Services on 19th September 1977. Dato' Hasan had served in various appointments starting with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (1977 - 1980), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1980 - 1981), Public Service Department (1981
84), lecturer at INTAN Kluang (1986 - 1990), Public Services Department (1991 - 1993) and Manjung District Office ( 1993 - 1998 ). Dato' Hasan was appointed as a district officer of Kuala Kangsar (2002 - 2004) and Ipoh City mayor from 2004 to 2006.
Dato' Hasan was honored with the title of Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak (DPMP), Kesatria Mangku Negara (KMN) and Ahli Mahkota Perak (AMP) and Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (Negeri Sembilan) upon his career.
