Mr Tan holds a B. A. Accounting Degree from the University of Kent, Canterbury, United Kingdom and Degree in Law from the Polytechnic of Central London. He is a Barrister-at-law (Lincolns Inn) and was called to Malaysian Bar in October, 1983.
